Confira a nota oficial do clube divulgada nesta terça-feira:

“Ilustríssimos senhores(as) conselheiros(as)

Em razão da divulgação não autorizada na rede social Facebook para público externo ao quadro associativo do Clube, da relação nominal de todos os nobres conselheiros e de seus respectivos votos nas reuniões do CD desde 2017, gerando clima de insegurança e temor;

Considerando o elevado número de manifestações via e-mail, aplicativo de mensagens e telefone, por parte de pessoas que temem por sua segurança pessoal e de seus familiares;

Considerando ainda o clima extremamente conflituoso gerado por tal publicação;

Cordialmente,

Antonio Goulart dos Reis

Presidente do Conselho Deliberativo do SCCP”

West Brom injury news: Worrying update on "top-class" £40k-p/w player

West Bromwich Albion are set to be without one of their senior players for the next couple of months through injury, and an expert has detailed exactly when he believes he’ll be able to stage his comeback.

What's the latest injury news at West Brom?

With Daryl Dike having been out of action since last season with an achilles injury and not expected to return until at least December, Carlos Corberan’s latest blow came in the form of Josh Maja, who has torn some of his ankle ligaments, with the club anticipating that he will be back following the international break in November.

The Baggies boss, however, has been handed a boost over Erik Pieters, who is likely to be available for selection for Saturday’s game vs Preston after being forced off the pitch with muscle tightness during the latest 0-0 Championship draw against Millwall.

Another player currently on the sidelines is Adam Reach, who limped off the field during the 2-2 draw with Burton Albion in pre-season, and having sustained a quad injury, has recently undergone surgery to try and help rectify the problem as quickly as possible.

Despite this, the midfielder still won’t be able to get involved with the action again for a while, with a medical expert having shared the realistic timeframe that the 30-year-old could aim for as a return date.

How long is Adam Reach out for?

Speaking to West Brom News, injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar confirmed that Reach may noy be ready to join in with the first-team until December, whilst noting November as the month that he could start to build up his fitness at the training ground.

His injury is a recurrence of a quadriceps injury that first occurred in April. It sounds like his return timeline is targeted for somewhere in December so mid to late November for light training could be a reasonable goal. Considering he had surgery recently, he’s likely taking it quite easy for the next coming days.“

West Bromwich Albion midfielder Adam Reach.

How good is Adam Reach?

Whilst Reach was previously dubbed a “top-class pro” by West Brom’s former manager Steve Bruce for the professional manner that he carries himself in, he is yet to make a single appearance this season, albeit that’s not his fault, and it’s unlikely he would be able to stake his claim in the starting squad under Corberan upon his return.

England’s former youth international, who is naturally left-footed, only ranked as the club’s 24th overall best-performing player out of 31 squad members last season, via WhoScored, showing how little of an impact he was able to make when handed the opportunity to play, failing to prove to the boss what he's capable of.

Furthermore, Reach currently pockets £40k-per-week which makes him the highest earner at the Hawthorns, as per Capology, therefore, Midlands chiefs should get him off their books next year, especially with his contract set to expire at the end of the season, and use the spare cash to generate funds for new signings in the future.

Twenty-six wickets in a day as Lord's gets frisky

Division Two Championship cricket tends to rush along at a frantic pace, but Middlesex must have found such a white-knuckle ride at headquarters an unusual experience

Alex Winter14-Apr-2018
ScorecardTwenty-six wickets in a day on a wicket greener than most could remember at Lord’s: welcome, Middlesex, to Division Two of the County Championship. This is how the cricket is played in the lower tier – on result pitches where teams are prepared to lose for the chance of victory. It served Nottinghamshire well last season, Northamptonshire too, whose nine wins trumped Nott’s tally and still wasn’t good enough for promotion. Middlesex are looking to prove Division Two is an alien land and after a whirlwind day they are now set to begin a season of recovery with victory. But a helpful pitch still requires bowlers of skill and craft and Tim Murtagh has been providing those credentials for 18 years. Here, he passed 700 first-class wickets when he clipped Josh Cobb’s off bail, taking 4 for 27 as Middlesex humiliated Northants in 21.2 overs of their first-innings. But it was another example of how Middlesex look out of place in the second tier that dominated the day.An impressive XI can be compiled of Middlesex players not available for this match but the depth of talent Middlesex posses is perhaps the biggest difference between themselves and other Division Two counties.Such is their depth that at the beginning of 2017, James Harris – who arrived from Glamorgan under much fanfare in 2013 – was allowed to join Kent on loan: a four-match sojourn that yielded 19 wickets at 21. He was back by the middle of the year and has begun 2018 with what should turn out to be a match-winning performance. After Middlesex began the day 136 for 4, they quickly lost both Paul Stirling and John Simpson who had shared a fifty-partnership on the first afternoon. Harris provided a punchy unbeaten 46 with the tail to steer his side to 214 and a score that appeared overpar. A thought confirmed as Harris replaced Toby Roland-Jones at the Pavilion End. His first three deliveries barely made the cut strip outside the off stump but the third came back down the slope to remove Richard Levi’s off stump and Harris was underway. He needed only 32 balls to take 5 for 9.James Harris celebrates a wicket•Getty Images

Harris and Murtagh reduced Northants to 41 for 8 and in danger of falling short of their lowest total against Middlesex of 58. That Brett Hutton, having taken 5 for 54 on his Northants debut earlier in the day, saved the visitors from such ignominy was no consolation as a 143-run first-innings deficit was conceded. With only two days of outdoor practise behind them in pre-season because of the appalling weather, Northants could claim mitigating circumstances. A pre-season tour of Barbados weakened the argument – however different the conditions. There was also little to excuse a series of missed chances – the most crucial John Simpson being dropped on three in the first-innings that would have seen Middlesex 67 for 5 and Harris spilt on 10.Middlesex conceded that to play conservatively was inviting trouble. As such, Max Holden unleashed a series of viscous cut strokes to the Mound Stand to rattle Middlesex to 54 for 1 in their second innings with a run-a-ball 33. But trying to force Doug Bracewell through cover, he edged behind and the game began to turn.Bracewell had changed to the Nursery End and oversaw a collapse of 4 for 3 in 23 balls to bring Northants back into the game. And at 112 for 9, the lead 255, they held some hope. But Murtagh swung his way to 31 in just 20 balls – including a six into the Tavern Stand – and Tom Helm, buoyed by his partner’s hitting, discovered his own taste for putting bat to ball with three further boundaries. The 10th wicket pair added 47 in 32 balls and with the target set at 303 and the pitch unlikely to ease, Middlesex should begin life back in Division Two with victory on day three

"Real shame", "Not ideal" – BBC pundit reacts to "star" Leeds player injury

Leeds United are in fine fettle on the pitch, but BBC pundit Alan Hutton has been left disappointed by the injury news surrounding one of the club's star men.

What's the latest news involving Leeds United?

Speaking to Football Insider, Hutton has praised young Leeds defender Charlie Cresswell for his attitude toward proceedings at Elland Road despite first-team minutes being hard to come by for the 21-year-old this term.

Hutton stated: "It’s always hard to break into the first team as a young player. But if you’ve got the right personality and a bit about you, and the other boys take to you – it always helps. They want to keep you involved and part of the group. I think that’s always a good thing, and it helps you settle in.

"His time will obviously come at Leeds, it will happen, but it’s good to see that he’s got the right attitude even though he’s not playing at the moment. It can be very difficult, so to hear that from the manager is quite refreshing and good for the player."

Presenter Joe Wainman meanwhile has indicated to GIVEMESPORT that there may be no way back for Leeds United trio Luis Sinisterra, Tyler Adams and Jack Harrison at Elland Road due to the fact they sought moves away from the Yorkshire giants during the summer transfer window.

Southampton await Leeds this weekend at St Mary's Stadium and Whites' boss Daniel Farke will be keen to build on a solid start to life back in the Sky Bet Championship, which has yielded a six-match unbeaten streak and four consecutive clean sheets.

Nevertheless, the German coach will have to do without the services of talented attacker Wilfried Gnonto, who is scheduled to be out until after the next international break and will require minor surgery on an ankle issue, as per Leeds Live.

What has Alan Hutton said about Wilfried Gnonto?

In conversation with Football Insider, former Scotland international Hutton, who is also a pundit for the BBC, thinks that Gnonto is one of Leeds United's 'star' players and believes his injury is a 'real shame' and is 'not ideal' for Whites manager Farke to contend with as he chases promotion.

Hutton said: "Sometimes it can be tough when you’ve had a tough pre-season and you’ve been on international duty. He’s not really had a break and the Championship is a really hard league. But Gnonto is now one of the star players at Leeds, who are doing alright. “I thought he would’ve got a move away, but it didn’t happen. It’s a real shame for him. No time is a good time to get injuries, but this is really not ideal when Leeds need him to help chase Leicester down at the top of the table."

wilfried-gnonto-leeds-united-transfer-injury-daniel-james-jaidon-anthony

Verbania-born Gnonto has managed to make six appearances in all competitions for Leeds United this term, registering a solitary goal against Ipswich Town, as per Transfermarkt.

As always, the former FC Zurich man has been a tricky presence in the final third for opposition backlines to contain, averaging around 1.8 shots and 2.6 completed dribbles per fixture in the Sky Bet Championship, as per WhoScored.

Leeds boss Farke will be desperate for the youngster to re-enter the fold before too long as the Whites aim to secure a return to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

h) Rebaixamento

Southampton: Martin’s 5 ft 9 ‘monster’ has made himself undroppable

When Russell Martin took over the reins at Southampton, the embarrassment of riches that he inherited and the quality he was able to add in the window meant anything other than promotion would have been classed as a failure.

He began life as many expected, guiding the Saints to three victories from their first four and while their attack was dominating, his defence was being ripped apart and sooner rather than later his side would be on the receiving end of a hammering.

Few would have expected it to come from a Sunderland side who only scored four in as many matches prior, managing to thrash Martin's side 5-0 at the Stadium of Light.

That gut-wrenching display followed three more as Southampton suffered damning defeats against Leicester, Ipswich and Middlesbrough, handing the latter their first victory of the season.

Many would have expected a fifth to follow when in-form Leeds arrived at St Mary's, however, they ended their September horror show with a 3-1 victory over the Whites as goals from Adam Armstrong and Will Smallbone injected some much-needed positivity back into the club, relieving the pressure from the underfire Martin.

Who were Southampton's best performers vs Leeds?

Martin is widely recognised in the EFL for utilising a possession-heavy style that lacks substance, dominating long periods of the match without providing the killer instinct at the top end of the pitch.

Against Leeds, though, Martin's side uncharacteristically had less of the ball (47% to 53%), made fewer passes (442/492) and fewer shots (10/15) but were ruthless when the opportunities arrived, scoring three of their five shots on target, as per SofaScore.

Adam Armstrong, who was integral to providing that clinical edge in the final third, chalked up an xG of 0.80, landed three efforts on target and scored two of them as the Englishman rose up to the occasion, as did Will Smallbone.

The 23-year-old has been subject to criticism for having gone missing in the Saints midfield but against Leeds, he put in a phenomenal display, completing 81% of his passes, attempting three duels, making two clearances and capping off his all-round performance with a well-taken goal, via SofaScore.

Armstrong and Smallbone weren't the only standout performers as Kamaldeen Sulemana wreaked havoc in the Leeds defence and showed glimpses of why they made him their club record signing in January.

How did Kamaldeen Sulemana perform vs Leeds?

Ahead of their home fixture against Stoke City, Martin hinted at rotating his side to navigate through the busy schedule.

He said: "We must be realistic and accept that we are probably going to have to rotate a little bit over the next two games.

"With the medical team and the sports science team, we will do our very best to make them recover as quickly as possible."

Southampton forwardKamaldeen Sulemana.

Regardless of tiredness – as the saying goes – you shouldn't change a winning side and one man who should be immune from rotation is Sulemana following his performance against Leeds, with Martin lauding him as a "monster".

Full of praise for the 21-year-old, who has struggled since making a £22m switch from Stade Rennais in January, Martin waxed lyrical about his performance even further, saying:

"He’s an incredible talent. I genuinely believe he can probably play wherever he wants at some point in his career if he puts everything that he has in the right place and in the right direction."

There's no wonder why his manager was over the moon with his display as the Ghanian assisted twice, successfully completed three of his four dribbles, made three tackles, won 60% of his ground duels and completed two key passes.

Sulemana's influence on the match was unrelenting and although Martin will likely rest some of his side against Stoke, the highly rated winger – who was once dubbed as "exceptional" by Erik ten Hag – is surely undroppable after his sensational performance against the Whites.

ScorecardWarwickshire maintained their challenge for Royal London Cup qualification by cruising to a nine-wicket win over Leicestershire at Edgbaston.Jonathan Trott (102 not out, 121 balls) and Sam Hain (69 not out, 87 balls) eased the Bears to victory and handed the visitors a sixth successive defeat. The Foxes were punished for wasting first use of an excellent batting track. After winning the toss, Leicestershire reached a relatively promising 135 for 3 in the 24th over but collapsed to 207 all out. While Mark Cosgrove and Colin Ackermann were together, a strong total looked achievable but after Olly Stone dismissed Cosgrove the last seven wickets fell for 72 runs in 19 overs.Stone took 3 for 44 and Aaron Thomason 3 for 45 before limping off with a side strain during his final over.Warwickshire made light work of their small target. Ed Pollock smashed 33 from 18 balls before Trott and Sam Hain added an unbroken 159 in 31 overs. On a good pitch, Leicestershire hit early trouble at seven for two after captain Paul Horton steered Keith Barker to second slip and Neil Dexter sent a return catch to Stone. Cameron Delport hit four successive fours off Stone but then skied a pull at Barker to leave the Foxes 31 for three.Cosgrove and Ackermann got the innings going with a stand of 104 in 17 overs, Cosgrove passing 50 for the fourth successive match before miscuing Stone to mid-off. Thereafter the innings tailed off dramatically.Ackerman lifted Thomason for six over long on then tried to repeat the blow next ball and found only the hands of mid on. Thomason dismissed Lewis Hill lbw, Tom Wells was trapped in front by Jeetan Patel and Zak Chappell spliced a pull at Thomason to short mid-wicket.After Stone rattled Dieter Klein’s stumps with a yorker, last pair Callum Parkinson and Gavin Griffiths had 66 balls at their disposal. They used 24 of them before Parkinson’s off-stump was knocked out by Henry Brookes. When Warwickshire replied, Pollock and Trott put 50 on the board in 38 balls, the half-century brought up by six off Chappell for Pollock over fine leg. Chappell soon got his revenge with a yorker into Pollock’s stumps but Trott and Hain were utterly untroubled.Trott’s second century in successive List A games was greeted by a standing ovation from the big crowd and he went on to escort his side all the way to a win which sets up a mouth-watering group finale against old rivals Worcestershire at Edgbaston on Thursday.
