O tradicional Jogo das Estrelas, comandado por Zico, maior ídolo da história do Flamengo, já é conhecido por encerrar a temporada do futebol carioca, com a presença não só de rubro-negros, mas das torcidas do Vasco, Fluminense, Botafogo e quem mais goste de futebol. Neste domingo, a partir das 18h, com transmissão em tempo real pelo site do LANCE!, acontece no Maracanã a 12ª edição do evento. O Galinho de Quintino comentou sobre a importância da festa contar com a presença de pessoas de todas as idades, em uma marcante confraternização beneficente de fim de ano.

– Nesses anos todos do evento, o que sempre mais me sensibilizou foi ver tantos pais com seus filhos no estádio, numa confraternização que poderia imperar em todos os jogos Brasil afora. Nada de brigas e violência, só amor pelo futebol e reverência aos ídolos. Gostaria de ver o Maracanã cheio novamente. E quero aproveitar para agradecer a cada um dos convidados que aceitaram fazer parte dessa festa – afirmou Zico, por meio da assessoria de imprensa da organização do Jogo das Estrelas.

Os ingressos inteiros custam R$ 20 e toda a renda será revertida para instituições de caridade. Antes do jogo principal, acontecerá, a partir das 15h30, uma partida preliminar entre artistas. E nesta edição do Jogo das Estrelas, foi confirmada pela organização a presença de duas estrelas internacionais: o goleiro português Vitor Baía, que defendeu Porto e Barcelona, além de ter vestido a camisa da seleção por mais de uma década, e o atacante belga Luc Nilis, considerado por Ronaldo Fenômeno o melhor parceiro em toda sua carreira.

Outros jogadores, ainda em atividade no futebol pelo mundo, também foram confirmados no Jogo das Estrelas. E muitos destes são velhos conhecidos dos torcedores do Rio de Janeiro, com alguns inclusive sendo reforços para seus times em 2016. São eles: Renato Augusto (Corinthians), Elias (Corinthians), Alex Teixeira (Shakhtar Donetsk-UCR), Juan (Flamengo), Lucas Lima (Santos), Zé Roberto (Palmeiras), Willian Arão (Flamengo), Jorge (Flamengo), Wilson (Coritiba), André Bahia (Shonan Bellmare-JAP) e André Santos (FC Wil-SUI).

ولم يحتج راؤول خيمينيز سوى 4 دقائق حتى يتمكن من تعزيز تفوق أصحاب الأرض، بتسجيله الهدف الثاني.

وقلص أليكس إووبي الفارق بتسجيله هدف لفريق إيفرتون في الدقيقة 66، إلا إنهم لم يتمكنوا من تسجيل هدف التعادل على الأقل، لتنتهي المباراة بخسارتهم.

ولم يفز إيفرتون منذ انتصاره على نورويتش سيتي بثنائية نظيفة يوم 25 سبتمبر الماضي.

بتلك النتيجة، ارتفع رصيد ولفرهامبتون إلى 16 نقطة في المركز السابع، بينما تجمد إيفرتون عند 14 نقطة في المركز العاشر.

O Atlético-PR pode receber mais um jogador do Cruzeiro por empréstimo. Em conversa no Twitter com torcedores, o atual presidente do Conselho Deliberativo do clube, Mario Celso Petraglia, “cravou” o acerto com o lateral-esquerdo Pará à Arena da Baixada.

Ao responder sobre jogadores do atual elenco, o ex-presidente do Atlético-PR revelou que o jogador de 19 anos atuará no clube. Pará deve defender o Furacão por empréstimo até o fim de 2016.

Além de Pará, Petraglia enalteceu que Marcos Guilherme e Crysan seguem em alta na Arena da Baixada. O meia Vinícius e o centroavante André Lima, recém-contratados, também ficaram em evidência na postagem.

Glasgow Rangers opened up a nine-point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership table on Sunday afternoon after beating Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.

But the club captain’s penalty proved to be the difference as Rangers recorded their ninth straight win in a row in quick succession in all competitions.

Several players caught the eye with impressive performances but one player stood head and shoulders above the rest of the crowd – Connor Goldson. The centre-back was awarded the ‘Man of the Match’ accolade by the BBC for his defensive display.

Per SofaScore, Goldson received a high rating of 7.8 for his efforts – he won ten out of his 13 duels overall (76%), took 92 touches of the ball, and completed 56 out of 78 passes at a pass accuracy rating of 72%, whilst he made one tackle, six clearances and blocked one shot, which shows that he was a ballast at the back. In fact, if you look at his heatmap, you can see a hotspot of activity in his own half, which suggests that he was the most vital cog in the win over Kilmarnock as he marshalled the defence.

Sky Sports gave the 27-year-old a grade of 8/10, whilst GlasgowLive gave him the same score, insisting that “he’s becoming such a threat from set-pieces” as “his towering header led to Rangers’ penalty”, before adding “he rarely put a foot wrong defensively.”

Once hailed as a “fantastic” player by Gerrard, Goldson has returned the favour with a string of strong performances since the start of the season.

The defender has started every single game for the Gers in the Scottish Premiership this season so far, whilst he is averaging 1.1 tackles and 3.2 clearances per game, via WhoScored. He also bagged a brace in the first Old Firm derby of the season, which just goes to show that he is a useful attacking threat as well.

Whether it’s a domestic or European competition, the Englishman is one of the first names on the teamsheet. It’ll be interesting to see if and when he will be able to finally catch a break with fixtures coming thick and fast over the next couple of weeks.

O Botafogo já tem Damián Lízio, da Bolívia, Joel Carli e Gervasio Nuñez, da Argentina. Serão pelo três estrangeiros no elenco que começará a temporada do Botafogo. Por esta razão, Nuñez, o Jacaré, acredita que a comunicação entre eles vai propiciar uma rápida adaptação.

– Para mim é muito importante, principalmente pela comunicação. É difícil trocar de país. Sei que nos primeiros dias será difícil. Mas vamos nos adaptar rapidamente – analisa.

O equatoriano Pedro Larrea também pode ser contratado, mas a situação dele é complexa. O Botafogo rejeitou a documentação enviada pela Federação Equatoriana, e pode desistir da contratação do volante alvinegro.

De todo modo, o olhar para fora do país foi uma opção da diretoria alvinegra para a contratação de reforços. É possível que outros estrangeiros cheguem.

In an exclusive interview with Football FanCast, Sheffield Wednesday legend Carlton Palmer has made a massive claim about Owls chairman Dejphon Chansiri.

It’s been over 20 years since the south Yorkshire outfit were relegated from the Premier League and during that time, they have twice dipped down into League One.

Now in the current season, they are amidst another relegation battle after being struck with a six-point deduction before a ball was even kicked.

Thai businessman, Chansiri, purchased the sleeping giants from Milan Mandaric in January 2015 and has overseen two play-off campaigns but since then, the Owls have not finished above 12th place.

And Palmer believes it comes down to his lack of knowledge on the footballing side of things, claiming that Chansiri should have appointed an adviser such as ex-Wednesday manager Howard Wilkinson.

He told FFC:

“Listen, since he’s been since he’s taken over, he has put his money where his mouth is. The only thing that I would say about the chairman is that I don’t think he’s been rightly advised.

“He spent a lot of money, he’s paid a lot of money in wages. He just hasn’t had the right advice.

“I’ve said this before, I mean, Howard Wilkinson lives in Sheffield – what he knows what he doesn’t know about football isn’t worth knowing about – you know, I think he should have got somebody in there to advise him, who knows about football.

“If he’d have done that, I think Sheffield Wednesday would have got promoted by now.”

Under Chansiri’s stewardship, the Yorkshire giants have had four permanent managers, ranging from Carlos Carvalhal to their latest one, Garry Monk, who was sacked earlier this week.

Following his takeover, the Thai mogul claimed the club would be in the Premier League by 2017 – that passed three years ago and things haven’t looked good since.

Perhaps Palmer is right, Chansiri could have done with someone leading the Owls’ football operations as the majority of their big money signings have flopped, which has only cost them in the long-run.

Amid the current state of peril with no manager to steer the sinking ship, maybe Chansiri needs to listen to the Wednesday legend’s advice.

وحاول مانشستر سيتي طيلة نافذة الانتقالات الصيفية الماضية، التعاقد مع هاري كين، كما تمرد صاحب الـ”29″ عامًا على إدارة ناديه من أجل الانتقال إلى بطل البريميرليج، لكن دانييل ليفي مالك توتنهام رفض بيعه.

وحسب شبكة “ESPN” العالمية، فإن مانشستر سيتي مُستعد لتقديم عرض جديد للتعاقد مع كين في الشتاء القادم، رغم رفض ليفي بيع كين في الصيف الماضي.

وأشارت الشبكة في تقريرها إلى أن رغم أن مدرب الفريق الإيطالي، أنطونيو كونتي حصل على تأكيدات بأن كين لن يرحل، لكن مصدر أخبر “ESPN” أن عرضًا ضخمًا قد يجبر ليفي على إعادة التفكير في بيع كين.

وأوضحت الشبكة أن موقف توتنهام قد يتغير بالفعل خلال الأسابيع القليلة القادمة، في ظل تضرر النادي ماليًا من جائحة كورونا “كوفيد -19”.

O jogador falou som a imprensa, na manhã desta segunda-feira, na Gávea, e se mostrou muito tranquilo, sem se intimidar, com a procura do clube por um novo cão de guarda.

No fim do ano passado, houve muitas especulações sobre o futuro do volante, que poderia sair. Contudo, Márcio Araújo renovou contrato com o Rubro-Negro por mais uma temporada. Ele afirma que este acerto já estava combinado e que só demorou para ser concretizado por causa da eleição presidencial do clube, realizada na primeira quinzena de dezembro.

After being given the chance to impress on Thursday night, it’s fair to say Eddie Nketiah didn’t take his opportunity.

The Arsenal striker had a hugely disappointing game in the Gunners’ Europa League clash against Molde, looking wasteful in front of goal and finding it difficult against the Norwegian side’s defence.

And whilst Mikel Arteta’s side may have ran out comfortable 3-0 winners after a superb second-half performance in particular, the Gunners boss will not be happy at all with how his starting centre-forward performed.

Such was the trust that Arteta showed him, that he placed him at the top of his attack, and put experienced France international and fellow striker as the number ten.

But he didn’t take advantage of that opportunity whatsoever.

As per Sofascore, out of the nine duels that he contested on the night, he lost every single one of them. Too often he was easily shirked off the ball, and whilst he tried his best to run the channels, he just didn’t have the strength to hold his man off.

And perhaps even more disappointingly for him, his supposed poacher’s instinct also let him down on several occasions throughout the night.

He had four attempts on goal in total and failed to hit the back of the net with any of them, including one really poor header from an outstanding Nicolas Pepe cross.

It was made even more galling that Folarin Balogun, his replacement and potential challenger for a striker spot in the first-team, notched within seconds of coming on.

And many Gunners fans took to Twitter urging Nketiah to be sold, with some even calling for Balogun to be the man the north London side now pin their hopes on.

It’s fair to say Nketiah didn’t deliver what was expected of him against Molde. And with Balogun now knocking on the door, Arteta may feel that he has someone else to call upon through the middle.
