Diante do Macaé, no Estádio Giulite Coutinho, o comandante pode dar uma chance aos “últimos da lista”.

Entre os mais de 30 jogadores de linha que formam o elenco profissional do Fluminense, apenas seis ainda não iniciaram uma partida como titular. Entre eles, Gum, que está lesionado, e Maranhão (confira a lista completa no quadro ao lado/abaixo). Abel Braga diz confiar com todos e promete testá-los.

The Athletic’s David Ornstein relayed a fresh update to supporters after Gunners boss Mikel Arteta played down reports linking Emile Smith Rowe to Aston Villa and Joe Willock with a return to Newcastle United.

“Without a question. Yes. He (Smith Rowe) will stay here. 100 per cent,” claimed the 39-year-old.

“Well, he (Willock) wasn’t involved today because he had a little groin issue. He trained yesterday really well but we didn’t want to risk him. Joe is part of our plans, he’s our player and in the time that he is here, we will try to make the most out of him. He had a great experience on loan. He was, I think one of the most important players for their survival.”

During the off-season so far, Villa have submitted two bids for the Croydon-born playmaker, which have both been rejected by the Arsenal hierarchy, whilst Steve Bruce has been keen to bring Willock back to St James’ Park after scoring eight goals on loan there last season.

This will come as hugely exciting news for everyone associated with the North London giants.

Smith Rowe is one of Arteta’s most creative and dynamic options in the current squad. He can play on either flank and through the middle, and with no new no.10 signing in sight, he could benefit from further playing time next season.

The £36m-rated dynamo provided four goals and seven assists across all competitions in 2020/21 and topped the charts for key passes per league game (1.4), via WhoScored.

Arteta is clearly a massive fan, having dubbed him “extraordinary” back in January and after scoring in their pre-season opener this week, many fans are demanding that he sign a new contract, as revealed by football.london. They will be buzzing that he’s certainly here to stay in 2021/22.

Similarly, it’s positive news that Willock is in line for more game time and quite understandably too as both Dani Ceballos and Martin Odegaard have returned to Real Madrid, whilst Granit Xhaka is expected to join AS Roma this window.

After bagging eight goals from midfield in a poor Magpies side, the 21-year-old could be an intriguing weapon under the Spanish coach next term.

The presence of Smith Rowe and Willock in Arteta’s first-team is another fantastic sign for the Gunners’ Hale End academy, too.

This latest information, via Ornstein, should have many in N5 absolutely thrilled.

Sem Ricardo Oliveira, Victor Ferraz, Renato, Lucas Lima, David Braz e Lucas Veríssimo, otécnico Dorival Júnior convocou 19 atletas do Santos para enfrentar o Novorizontino, nesta quarta-feira, às 21h45, na Vila Belmiro, em Santos.

Apesar do Peixe já estar classificado paras as quartas de final da competição, o treinador poupou os principais jogadores da equipe, que permanecerão no CT Rei Pelé para realizarem trabalhos físicos e técnicos específicos. Apenas três dos considerados titulares foram relacionados: Vitor Bueno, Thiago Maia e Zeca. Rodrigão e Bruno Henrique foram vetados pelo departamento médico santista.

Zeca, anteriormente vetado da último confronto por apresentar desgaste muscular, está de volta à lista de convocados.

O atacante Bruno Henrique foi vetado pelo DM do Santos por ter se apresentado com forte gripe ao treino de terça-feira. Já Rodrigão está fora do jogo devido processo inflamatório no pé direito. O goleiro João Paulo não foi convocado por decisão da comissão técnica.

In reply, Northamptonshire Steelbacks were always chasing a lost cause and could muster only 219 to lose by 55 runs under the Bristol lights.Windows was particularly severe on his former team-mate Mike Cawdron. He hit three consecutive sixes in a final over that cost 24 and left Cawdron with the distinctly unpleasant figures of 9-0-91-1. He was not alone with some figures he would rather forget, but the way Windows set about the attack, nobody was safe.Windows was helped by Australian all-rounder Ian Harvey with 52 from just 36 balls, while skipper Mark Alleyne weighed in with 43 useful runs once Harvey was out.When the Steelbacks batted, it was initially David Sales who led the response to the Gladiators. He scored 51, but wickets were falling at regular intervals at the other end. Tony Penberthy picked up the challenge when Sales was out, reaching 64 from 51 balls as he tried to bring the asking rate within bounds.However, when he was stumped by Jack Russell off the bowling of James Averis and Cawdron completed a miserable evening by getting a four-ball duck, the end was not far away. It came when Jason Brown skied Averis to the wicket-keeper, the ball after he had been dropped by Alleyne who circled underneath a swirling chance without laying a hand on it. The injured Darren Cousins did not come out to bat and the Gladiators confirmed their position at the top of Division Two.

Liverpool have had phenomenal consistency in their attack over the last few years, with Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino leading the front line on a regular basis.

Last season, Salah’s fine form of PFA Fans’ Player of the Year. Alongside this, Salah was also named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year and helped the Reds to a third place Premier League finish.

With the attacking trio a consistent part of Jurgen Klopp’s starting XI when fit, it begs the question could anybody come into Liverpool and force one of their talented trio out the side.

According to Football Insider, the Merseyside outfit have told Wolves that they are willing to pay up to £25million for the player the west Midlands outfit value at £50m, but former Liverpool player Paul Stewart says Traore might not be the right fit for the club right now.

“You look at the front three of Liverpool, they interchange, Salah comes in, Mane’s all over the place. 

“I can’t see Traore being that because he’s a feet on the touchline type of man and then pace is his massive attribute.”

Traore has scored 10 goals and has got 18 assists in his time at Molineux, but Stewart wants to see the winger add to his end product, adding: “When I first watched him, I thought with that pace if he could have an end product he could be a world beater, but I haven’t seen that end product yet”.

– Esperamos continuar com a boa campanha do Carioca também na Copa do Brasil. A Copa do Brasil é uma competição muito peculiar, não te dá chance de errar em nenhum momento. – Neste primeiro confronto contra a Ponte Preta, espero um jogo bem difícil. A Ponte Preto tem boa estrutura, dá boas condições de trabalho. Porém, sempre que a nossa equipe foi exigida, fizemos bons confrontos contra equipes fortes. Espero que isso se repita na quarta-feira – completou o comandante alvinegro.

كشف إيمريك لابورت أنه اضطر إلى اللعب مع فريق مانشستر سيتي، في المباريات الأخيرة من بطولة الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، وهو يعاني من إصابة في الركبة.

ولم يتواجد لابورت في قائمة منتخب إسبانيا المستدعاة لمبارياتهم المقبلة في دوري الأمم الأوروبية، بسبب إصابة في الركبة أجبرته على الخروج من مواجهة ولفرهامبتون يوم 11 مايو الماضي.

منذ ذلك الحين، بدأ لابورت مباراتي السيتي الأخيرتين ضد وست هام وأستون فيلا حيث تركت إصابة روبن دياز وجون ستونز وناثان آكي وكايل ووكر، بيب جوارديولا في محاولة لإصلاح دفاعه.

ونال سيتي لقب الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز للمرة الرابعة في آخر خمس سنوات بفارق نقطة واحدة أمام ليفربول بعدما تأخر 2-صفر ليهزم فيلا 3-2 يوم الأحد.

وكتب لابورت على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي: “لسوء الحظ لن أتمكن من حضور المباريات المقبلة للمنتخب بسبب الإصابة التي تعرضت لها ضد ولفرهامبتون وستحتاج إلى مزيد من العلاج”.

وأضاف: “لقد كنت غير مرتاح مع ركبتي منذ ذلك الحين، لكنني أردت مساعدة الفريق حتى النهاية، وأنا سعيد لأنني فعلت ذلك”.

وواصل: “الآن بعد أن انتهى الموسم، سأتابع العملية الطبية وأبدأ في إعادة التأهيل للعودة إلى اللياقة البدنية الكاملة بسرعة، أمامنا موسم آخر مثير للغاية، بانتظارنا بأهداف كبيرة يجب تحقيقها”.
