India will tour Bangladesh for a three-ODI series during the window between the IPL final on June 1 and their departure for England on June 22. The three ODIs will be played in Dhaka on June 15, 17 and 19.ESPNcricinfo understands India will have a new captain in all likelihood, with MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli unavailable for the tour. Dhoni has planned a family vacation and the BCCI is inclined towards resting the captain for a rigorous season starting with the England tour and culminating with the 2015 World Cup.Similarly, Kohli, who led India during the Asia Cup in March in the absence of the injured Dhoni, has also indicated to the BCCI hierarchy that he would prefer a break going into the hectic season. The other three players who have led India in the recent past are Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir and Suresh Raina. None of them were part of the Asia Cup campaign. As a result, the selectors could be forced to choose a new captain, with Rohit Sharma and R Ashwin the main contenders to lead.India’s tour to Bangladesh was in principle agreed upon between the boards at the time of FTP negotiations in February, and the dotted line was signed on the sidelines of last month’s ICC executive board meeting in April.ESPNcricinfo had learned last week that the BCB was waiting to hear from the BCCI and also waiting to confirm the six-year TV broadcaster’s deal, for which they had asked for bids from April 24. The main selling point for the BCB was the two India tours to Bangladesh during this period, including the series in June. The open bid to determine the broadcaster is on May 16.

وفي مؤتمره الصحفي اليوم الجمعة قبل المباراة، أكد كلوب غياب لاعبه ترينت ألكسندر أرنولد، بسبب الإصابة.

وقال كلوب: “ترينت غير متاح، كنا نعلم ذلك من قبل، لم يتدرب مع الفريق، إنها ليست أسوأ إصابة في أوتار الركبة ولكنها إصابة على مستوى أوتار الركبة، نأمل أن يتمكن من المشاركة، لأنه يركض بالفعل، وسيعمل على الكرة بداية الأسبوع المقبل”.

وحول التشكيل في غياب أرنولد، استطرد: “علينا أن نتحلى بالمرونة، إذا شاهدت المباراة ضد أستون فيلا، لم يكن ترينت ثابتًا في دور خط الوسط، يجب أن يكون على ما يرام، وسيكون على ما يرام، يجب أن نتكيف مع مجموعة المهارات المختلفة للاعب”.

وأكمل بشأن المصابين الآخرين: “تياجو ألكانتارا يركض ولكن هذا كل شيء، وتدرب كوناتي لمدة يومين مع الفريق”.

وعن داروين نونيز، أوضح كلوب: “لم أر نونيز بعد، لكن بيننا تواصل، وقال إن الأمر على ما يرام، لكننا سنرى ذلك الآن ونتخذ بعض القرارات هناك، داروين يجب أن يكون بخير”.

وبشأن ستيفان بايتيتش، أشار: “كان لدى ستيفان معسكرًا جيدًا مع فريق (إسبانيا) تحت 21 عامًا، ولعب بضع دقائق فقط لكن ذلك ساعده على أي حال”.

وأكمل بشأن جاريل كوانساه: “لقد تدرب معنا لمدة أسبوع كامل، لذلك كان من الواضح أنه وقت كاف للراحة”.

وعن الوافد الجديد ريان جرافنبرخ وإمكانية مشاركته مع ليفربول غدًا أمام ولفرهامبتون، أفاد: “سنرى، إنه لاعب في ناد جديد، لذا فقد أجرى جلسات تدريبية هنا”.

واسترسل: “لدينا مباريات كل 3 أيام الآن، لذا فقام بتنظيم إقامته، يعرف أين سيعيش، ولديه سيارة وقام بتنظيم كل شيء حول ذلك، استغل الاستراحة لإصلاح الكثير”.

وبشأن قدرات جرافنبرخ، أردف: “إنه جيد في المساحات الصغيرة، وهو جيد في المساحات الكبيرة أيضًا، يمكنه تسريع اللعب، لديه نظرة عامة جيدة، ممرر جيد، تصويب جيد، يتدرب لمدة أسبوع كامل الآن، إنه يعمل بجد للغاية”.

Há um cronograma especial para Ramires, pois o jogador não atua com frequência há um ano e meio. Ele estava noJiangsu Suning (CHN) e chegou a negociar com o Benfica (POR), no início de 2018. O acordo não saiu, mas já depois do prazo de inscrições do Campeonato Chinês. Desde episódio até maio de 2019, trabalhou com a equipe B para ao menos manter a forma.

Não há pressa no Palmeiras. Quando elogiou a contratação, Luiz Felipe Scolari já havia dito que iria colocá-lo “tranquilamente” na equipe. Convocado por Felipão na Copa do Mundo de 2014, Ramires é um meio-campista que o técnico entende poder jogar tanto na linha de volantes quanto na de meias.

A parte burocrática já foi resolvida, e o nome do jogador apareceu no BID da CBF. Quando estiver apto fisicamente, portanto, poderá ser relacionado na Copa do Brasil e Brasileiro. Na Libertadores, ele precisará entrar na lista de inscritos para o mata-mata.

London will play host to the best campus cricketers from around the world, with teams from eight countries taking part in this year’s world finals of the Red Bull Campus Cricket competition.Leeds Bradford MCC (UK), University of New South Wales (Australia), University of Liberal Arts (Bangladesh), Rizvi College (India), Karachi University (Pakistan), Assupol Tukkies (South Africa), International College of Business and Technology (Sri Lanka) and Jamaica (West Indies) are the eight teams who will contest the competition which will be held in a round-robin format from July 21 to 26.The group stages, scheduled till July 23, will be held at the Wormsley Cricket Ground, while The Oval will host finals day, on July 26.Theunis de Bruyn, the 21-year-old batsman who plays for Titans, and Aiden Markram, who captained the South Africa Under-19 team to World Cup glory in February this year, are some of the stars who will take part in the Twenty20 tournament.”There will always be sportsmen and sportswomen who develop only in their twenties,” the tournament’s sporting director and ICC match referee, Chris Broad, said. “So, the chance that Red Bull Campus Cricket gives players [who have not been part of their country’s age-group cricket system] is to showcase their stuff.”England fast bowler Stuart Broad, who himself will be battling it out at The Oval against India later this summer, echoed his father Chris’ opinion. “Red Bull Campus Cricket provides a great platform for cricketers to compete on a world stage,” he said. “They are challenging themselves against the best with the opportunity to win not only the tournament, but perhaps a professional contract.”

أعلن نادي ليفربول في بيان رسمي، منذ قليل، توقيع لاعب الفريق كوستاس تسيميكاس على عقد جديد في “الأنفيلد”.

كان تسيميكاس قد انتقل إلى ليفربول قادمًا من أولمبياكوس، في صيف 2020، وسرعان ما أصبح لاعبًا بارزًا في كتيبة يورجن كلوب.

وقال تسيميكاس في تصريحات للموقع الرسمي للنادي: “أشعر بسعادة بالغة لوجودي هنا لتمديد عقدي، أشعر أن كل التضحيات التي قمت بها والأشياء الأخرى، والعمل الذي قمت به، جاء بنتيجة”.

وأضاف: “لكن هذا يبقيني متحمسًا تمامًا لما هو قادم، كما قلت في العديد من المقابلات، هذا الفريق لديه الكثير والكثير من الأشياء ليحققها معًا، وأردت أن أكون جزءًا منه منذ الدقيقة الأولى”.

وأردف: “أعتقد أن الجميع جاهزون بنسبة 100% ويركزون على المباريات المقبلة، الجميع مستعدون لتحقيق أشياء كبيرة في المستقبل”.

Leicestershire kept alive their hopes of a quarter-final place with a 16-run Duckworth-Lewis method victory over Worcestershire in the Royal London Cup Group A game at Grace Road.Put into bat on a bowler-friendly pitch after rain delayed the start by two and a half hours, Worcestershire totalled 202 for 9 off 34 overs. That was down to a second-wicket stand of 104 between Daryl Mitchell and Tom Fell, who top-scored with 73, while Leicestershire’s young allrounder Shiv Thakor took four wickets for 49 – his best figures in limited-overs cricket.The Foxes made a steady start to the chase, reaching 45 in eight overs for the loss of Niall O’Brien and Angus Robson. Greg Smith (34 not out) and Matt Boyce took the hosts to 93 for 2 off 15.4 overs before a torrential downpour brought an end to proceedings.The abandonment handed the hosts a victory which meant that, if they beat Lancashire in the final game at Old Trafford next week, they will clinch a place in the last eight.It certainly looked a good toss to win as Worcestershire’s openers struggled to lay bat on ball during the first seven overs. Charlie Shreck bowled two maidens and conceded only three runs in four overs and Anthony Ireland was equally frugal to restrict the visitors to just 14 runs at the end of the Powerplay.And when Ollie Freckingham, playing his first game of the season following an injury lay-off, flattened Tom Kohler-Cadmore’s middle stump with the score 18 in the eighth over, the Foxes were in the driving seat.But gradually Mitchell and Fell gained control with an excellent partnership of 104 off 106 balls.
