Captain Suzie Bates continued her excellent form, stroking her third fifty-plus score in four matches, to help New Zealand Women wrap up the series against Australia Women in Wellington.After bowling four overs for 30 runs, Bates added 59 for the first wicket with Rachael Priest to lay the foundation for the chase of 117. Meg Lanning produced a double-strike in the tenth over to remove Priest and Sara McGlashan. Bates and Amy Satterthwaite, however, ate into the target with a brisk 47-run partnership for the third wicket. Both batsmen were dismissed as New Zealand faced some late hiccups, but the chase was completed with five wickets and three balls to spare.The win, however, was set up by Morna Nielsen and offspinner Leigh Kasperek, who had picked up three wickets in the previous game. Nielsen accounted for both openers inside three overs before Kasperek sliced through the middle order. Nielsen and Kasperek boasted combined figures of 8-0-38-5. Ellyse Perry, though, rallied Australia with her third T20I fifty, which included three fours and two sixes. She took Australia to 116 with an unbeaten 55, but it was not enough to keep the series alive.The third and final T20, which has been reduced to a dead rubber, will be played at New Plymouth on Friday.

Half an hour before play, at the end of a poignant memorial service for Sussex fast bowler Matthew Hobden, Chris Nash wiped away a tear from his eye and walked over to embrace Hobden’s mother. A previsão de pouco dinheiro no orçamento do Cruzeiro em 2020 poderia ter sido minimizada se a administração de Wagner Pires de Sá não tivesse cometido mais um equívoco na condução do clube. O gestor de futebol da Raposa, Zezé Perrella, revelou que o clube recusou um contrato de patrocínio máster de R$ 12 milhões com Banco BS2, antigo Banco Bonsucesso, e atual parceiro do Flamengo, para assinar contrato com o Banco Renner, dono da marca Digimais, sem a garantia de um valor fixo mensal.

Perrella fez a revelação após ser questionado sobre como seria o futuro financeiro do time mineiro em 2020 com a queda para a Série B.

– A minha esperança é que a gente consiga alguns patrocínios melhores. Para vocês terem uma ideia, o Cruzeiro deixou de receber R$ 12 milhões do Banco Bonsucesso para fechar com o outro de graça, contando só com royalties – disse Perrella.

O acordo com o atual parceiro comercial se mostra pouco vantajoso para o clube, segundo Perrella, o Digimais pagou ao Cruzeiro R$ 6 milhões pelo espaço máster na camisa e fez uma linha de empréstimo de R$ 5 milhões, que deverá ser quitado por meio de publicidade na manga do uniforme a partir de 2020, já que o Supermercados BH vai ocupar a parte frontal da camisa celeste.

A fala de Perrella indica que o contrato com o Digimais não oferece garantias de receita ao clube.

– O Banco Bonsucesso ofereceu R$ 12 milhões, mais os royalties. Achou que o outro banco era o grande, era o maior, e daria muito mais ao Cruzeiro, daí fizeram esse negócio – disse.

Outra crítica de Perrella foi sobre o novo fornecedor de uniformes da Raposa, a Adidas. Para o dirigente, o acordo não gera muitas vantagens, mesmo a empresa alemã sendo uma grande marca no mundo. A fornecedora alemã só pagará ao Cruzeiro se forem vendidas pelo menos 180 mil peças do enxoval que será disponibilizado. Os R$ 2,5 milhões adiantados pela Adidas terão de ser compensados com vendas de produtos.

– O contrato da Adidas, que a imprensa falou, o Cruzeiro só tem royalties se vender 180 mil camisetas, sendo que o nosso recorde de vendas é de 120 mil. A Adidas é de marca, muito bem-vinda, mas não há contrato milionário. Esse royalty de R$ 2,5 milhões é para ser compensado no futuro, caso a gente tenha direito a algum royalty. Assim foi feito no Cruzeiro, uma zorra total – completou.

A queda para a Série B vai reduzir e muito as receitas do Cruzeiro em 2020. A maior queda será na cota de TV. O prejuízo estimado é de pelo R$ 45 milhões.Outro desafio do ano será a redução da dívida, que está em torno de R$ 700 milhões.

O lateral-esquerdo Felipe Jonatan teve um ano de evolução e aprendizado no Santos. Com o técnico Jorge Sampaoli, o atleta foi uma espécie de polivalente, atuando em todas as áreas do campo e convocado até para a Seleção Olímpica.

– Meu jogo mais marcante foi contra o Oeste, foi minha estreia pelo Santos. Quando eu pisei em campo, não imaginei que estaria no time de Pelé, Neymar, entre outros… Este jogo foi bem marcante – falou o camisa 36 do Peixe.

– Fiquei bem ansioso, é um time diferente, sempre busca por título, tricampeão da América, bicampeão mundial. Passa um filme na cabeça por tudo que eu vivi no futebol. Estou encerrando meu segundo ano como profissional, mas já vivi muitas coisas no futebol. No ano passado eu estava quase caindo com o Ceará e hoje eu sou vice-campeão do Brasileiro. Frio na barriga, já conhecia alguns companheiros caso de jogar contra ou até jogar junto como foi com o Everson – acrescentou.

Agora o frio na barriga voltará pela disputa da Copa Libertadores, a primeira de Felipe Jonatan. Na fase de grupos, o Santos enfrentará o Olímpia-PAR, o Delfín-EQU e o Defensa y Justicia-ARG.

– É um campeonato bem disputado, não tem equipe fraca, não tem jogo fácil. Temos de estar bem atento nas partidas. A gente provou durante o Brasileiro que é uma equipe qualificada. Tem de focar – contou o lateral-esquerdo.

O camisa 36 do Santos acredita que a equipe deve ter um bom plantel para chegar longe no torneio continental, além de ter mais calma em jogos cruciais.

– Eu vejo como plantel, o Santos vem fazendo bons campeonatos, vem sempre chegando em segundo, terceiro colocado. O título tem batido na trave, mas temos de ter mais tranquilidade. Sei que a diretoria vai fazer o papel dela fora de campo e nós vamos fazer nosso papel dentro dele – concluiu.

A SITUAÇÃO CONTRATUAL DE REINIER

Reinier renovou seu contrato com o Flamengo em novembro do ano passado. O novo vínculo é válido até 29 de outubro de 2024 e a multa rescisória, antes estipulada em 70 milhões de euros, foi reduzida. Os valores são mantidos em sigilo., mas foi uma medida de precaução da diretoria do Flamengo.

Caso não houvesse prorrogação do antigo contrato, o jogador poderia assinar um pré-contrato com outro clube a partir de 1º de julho de 2020 e sair de graça ao fim da temporada que se iniciará nos próximos dias.

De acordo com o último balanço divulgado pelo clube, no fechamento do terceiro semestre de 2019, o Flamengo detém 100% dos direitos econômicos de Reinier. A renovação, contudo, aconteceu após esta data (dia 30 de setembro), e não há confirmação se o clube manteve o percentual do atleta.

A transferência para o futebol europeu já em janeiro é vista com bons olhos pelo jogador e seu estafe. A decisão, obviamente, dependerá do que for apresentado aos empresários, família e ao Flamengo. O clube, por sua vez, também já trabalha com a possibilidade real de perder o jogador nesta janela.

JOIA MANTÉM FOCO NO PRÉ-OLÍMPICO

Concentrado na Seleção a partir desta sexta, Reinier deixa o futuro, por ora, nas mãos do pai e empresários, e é um dos destaques do Sub-23 do Brasil que buscará uma das duas vagas da América do Sul nos Jogos Olímpicos de Tóquio.

O Torneio Pré-Olímpico será disputado entre 18 de janeiro e 9 de fevereiro, na Colômbia.O Brasil faz parte do Grupo B com Bolívia, Paraguai, Peru e Uruguai. O Grupo A é composto por Argentina, Chile, Colômbia, Equador e Venezuela.
