'The Associates don't know what's going to happen to them' – Porterfield

Ireland’s captain says his Full Member team are the lucky ones, as he sympathises with the Associates who missed out on the World Cup

Liam Brickhill in Harare23-Mar-2018Ireland may have missed out on qualification for the 2019 World Cup, but at least they are now an ICC Full Member, says captain William Porterfield, who believes that the situation is far more bleak for the Associate nations who have been excluded from next year’s 10-team event.”There’s a lot of things on the horizon [for Ireland]”, Porterfield said in the wake of his side’s five-wicket defeat against Afghanistan. “In a couple of weeks’ time we’ll regroup and start preparing for the Test match [against Pakistan]. And we’ve got a few other fixtures over the summer.”To some extent we’re lucky. We’ve managed to get where we are. I feel sorry for Scotland, how it ended for them. For them to progress, it’s going to be harder.”Scotland were not one of the fancied sides heading into the qualifiers, but they were undefeated going into the Super Six stage, having beaten Afghanistan, Hong Kong and Nepal and tied with Zimbabwe. But defeats to Ireland and West Indies, the latter by only five runs in a rain-affected match, sealed their elimination. In his final press conference, Scotland captain Kyle Coetzer said that he didn’t know when his team would next get their chance to progress as a cricketing nation.”We’ve got our pathway, as hard as it is, to keep drip-feeding money out to keep improving facilities and things like that, from the ICC,” said Porterfield. “I feel sorry for a lot of other teams that are leaving here. Obviously ourselves and Afghanistan got elevated [to Full Member status], which we’re grateful for.”Porterfield criticised the limited opportunities available to teams below cricket’s top tier, as well as the structure of the World Cup next year. That tournament will be limited to only ten teams, with the format of the group stage ensuring that teams likely to attract large television audiences, such as India, England and Australia, will be guaranteed nine games.”Every 208 weeks you’ve got a six-week competition so two or three big teams can play nine games on TV, so that the ICC can cash in with a big cheque,” said Porterfield.”And a lot of teams will leave here with nothing in their pocket. Scotland have come so close and yet so far themselves, but what have they got to look forward to for the next few years? It’s going to be so hard for them to try to get money out of the ICC to improve things.”We got the opportunity in 2007 to play in the World Cup and we knocked out Pakistan, we tied with Zimbabwe, we got to the Super Eights and we beat Bangladesh. We took down England in 2011 with a couple of games over four years. It was the same going into 2015. They tried to make it a 10-team World Cup last time with no qualification. It’s now a 10-team World Cup with two spots.”It’s not hard, with the big cheques they’re getting now, with India getting nine games on TV, England getting nine games, Australia getting nine games, that has to be pushed back down through the ranks. All I hear is how good this competition has been, and how everyone has beaten everyone. [Money] has to be put back into the game, for the countries that don’t have a World Cup to look forward to, or the possibility of getting to the World Cup.””I’m not just saying this because we didn’t get there this time, but I feel sorry for a lot of countries that are leaving here, and they don’t know what’s going to happen next week.”

Fulham looking to sign "amazing" player with £100m+ release clause

Fulham have started the season exactly how you'd expect a side to start after losing their talisman late in the window, before facing a battle to keep hold of arguably their best midfielder – eventually winning that battle.

Without Aleksandar Mitrovic, the Cottagers have won just once in four Premier League games this season, which came against Everton on the opening day. They did put in an encouraging display against Arsenal, however, battling to eventually take a point away from The Emirates.

With losses against Manchester City and Brentford, though, Marco Silva and the board may already turn their attention towards the January transfer window. Given those results, one particular target has emerged that Fulham are interested in when it comes to potential reinforcements.

What's the latest Fulham transfer news?

Fulham may have lost Mitrovic in the summer, but that's not to say that Silva didn't receive any boosts when it came to incomings in the summer transfer window. In total, the Cottagers welcomed seven fresh faces, ranging from experienced heads like Raul Jimenez and Alex Iwobi to rising stars like Calvin Bassey. Reports suggest that their spending could only be on hold, too, with an eye on the January transfer window.

According to O Jogo, via Sport Witness, Fulham are interested in signing Benfica midfielder Florentino Luis, who reportedly has a €120m (£104m) release clause. The Premier League side will have to act swiftly if they do want to sign the Benfica man, however, with Nottingham Forest, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich also reportedly interested in the midfielder.

It remains to be seen whether Fulham will be in a position to land Luis come January, or even next summer, it must be said. The fact that Joao Palhinha and Harrison Reed just put pen to paper on new deals at the club could mean that Silva's need for a midfielder significantly goes down Fulham's list of priorities.

Should Fulham sign Florentino Luis?

florentino-luis-nottingham-forest-transfer-news-premier-league

At 24, Luis looks set to have the world at his feet, given the interest in his future from around Europe. And that interest comes as no surprise, as statistics show.

According to FBref, the defensive midfielder is in the top 97 percentile for passes attempted, whilst being in the top 93 percentile for completion rate, with 88.8%. Meanwhile, Luis is also in the top 96 percentile for tackles per 90, making 3.47, and the top 99 percentile for interceptions, with 2.62 per 90.

With numbers that impressive, the praise that Luis has received comes as little shock, with former Benfica coach Joao Tralhao saying, via HITC: "He has the talent and quality to play in elite teams. Remember when Real Madrid had the Galacticos? They needed someone to balance the team, and [Claude] Makelele was so important.

"More recently, Casemiro did that job, allowing [Cristiano] Ronaldo, [Luka] Modric and [Karim] Benzema to attack. Florentino has those capabilities. He’s having an amazing season under Roger Schmidt. He can play anywhere, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Liverpool, anywhere. He would have no problem adapting.”

With that said, it will certainly be interesting to see if Fulham push on and pursue the signature of Luis when the transfer window comes around.

Spurs could have signed £69m upgrade on Conor Gallagher

Tottenham Hotspur’s start to the 2023/24 Premier League campaign has been solid, with Ange Postecoglou leading his side to two wins from three, including a wonderful victory over Manchester United.

His transfer business has also been impressive, managing to secure the signings of James Maddison, Micky van de Ven and Guglielmo Vicario among others as the Australian looked to build a squad that could challenge the top four and secure a return to European competition.

They were also interested in a move for Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher on transfer deadline day, according to reports, yet the former Celtic boss missed plenty of other chances to improve his midfield throughout the window.

What is Conor Gallagher good at?

The Englishman has been in decent form for the Blues so far this term, ranking third across the squad for overall Sofascore rating (7.4), while also ranking in the top five for accurate passes, big chances created and shots on target per game, showcasing his talents across a wide range of metrics.

Conor-Gallagher-West-Ham-United-target

It represents solid progress by the midfielder, as last term he struggled to display the form that saw him shine at Crystal Palace during the 2021/22 campaign, where he scored eight goals and grabbed five assists for the Eagles.

This dropped to just three goals and one assist last term. Perhaps a move and a fresh start away from the hustle and bustle of Chelsea could have reinvigorated the 23-year-old.

Could Postecoglou have made a more concrete effort to sign a midfielder who has shone on the continent, however? Nicolo Barella was linked with a move to the club during the embryonic stages of the transfer window in June and would arguably have been a better option, albeit an expensive one at a potential £69m.

How good is Nicolo Barella?

The Inter Milan sensation was an integral part of their success during the 2022/23 season as the Serie A side won the Coppa Italia and Italian Super Cup while also reaching their first Champions League final for 13 years, losing 1-0 to Manchester City.

nicolo-barella-transfer-gossip-arsenal-inter-milan-edu-arteta-jorginho

Barella displayed his attacking talents throughout the campaign, registering 19 goal contributions – nine goals and ten assists – across all competitions, whilst in the league, he ranked third for key passes per game (1.6) across the squad and first for successful dribbles per game (1.1), further evidence of his attacking skillset.

He could certainly have been a big upgrade on Gallagher. Indeed, the £152k-per-week gem ranked in the top 8% for non-penalty goals, the top 9% for progressive carries and the top 12% for shot-creating actions when compared to positional peers over the previous 12 months.

In comparison, Gallagher ranked outside the top 20% when compared to positional peers for the same metrics, and it proves that the Italian is more effective from an attacking point of view and this would have given Postecoglou something different in the midfield area.

Renowned scout Jacek Kulig had plenty of praise for the Inter player, lauding him as a “little warrior” back in 2019, and it looks as though Spurs have missed out big time by failing to bring the 26-year-old to the Premier League during the summer.

Gallagher may prove to be a hit for Spurs, yet the statistics state that Barella would have been the far better choice.

Rejuvenated Royals run into red-hot bowling unit

The race to the playoffs is on; while Sunrisers seem quite comfortable at top, Royals will hope their million-dollar gambles rescue them and seal a spot in the top four

The Preview by Sruthi Ravindranath28-Apr-20184:03

Tait: Stay aggressive, attack Sunrisers’ bowlers

Form guide

Sunrisers Hyderabad: beat Kings XI by 13 runs, beat Mumbai Indians by 31 runs, lost to Chennai Super Kings by four runs, lost to Kings XI Punjab by 15 runs
Rajasthan Royals: beat Mumbai Indians by three wickets, lost to Chennai Super Kings by 64 runs, lost to Kolkata Knight Riders by seven wickets, defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 19 runs

Big pictureSunrisers Hyderabad’s bowling unit has been an enigma this season. They have the best economy in the Powerplay, middle overs and death. Twice now, they’ve defended totals that many other teams would’ve called 20-25 too little. On Thursday, they didn’t have Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Billy Stanlake. Their captain Kane Williamson was dismissed for a duck and the bowlers had only 132 to work with. Most sides would’ve looked at not conceding the game easily. Not Sunrisers, whose bowlers triggered a sensational Kings XI Punjab slide. From 55 for 1, they hurtled to 119 all out.ESPNcricinfo LtdEven as this played out in Hyderabad, Royals were enjoying the palaces and what Rajasthan’s wildlife has to offer. They’ve had five days off but now will have to gear up for four games over the next 10 days.Since their tournament opener against each other, Royals and Sunisers have had mixed fortunes. Two of Royals’ three wins have come batting first. Sunrisers’ batting, meanwhile, keeps malfunctioning. They have not had a 30-plus opening partnership in their last four games, which, not surprisingly, coincides with Shikhar Dhawan’s low scores. Royals’ openers have misfired too. But with Rahul Tripathi back at the top, and Ajinkya Rahane discovering a new gear, things could get hot pretty early in Jaipur. In the newsBhuvneshwar trained with the squad in Jaipur, a sign that he’s on the road to recovery. If he’s good to play, then either Sandeep Sharma or Basil Thampi will have to miss out.The likely XIsRajasthan Royals: 1 Ajinkya Rahane (capt), 2 Rahul Tripathi, 3 Sanju Samson, 4 Ben Stokes, 5 Jos Buttler(wk), 6 Heinrich Klaasen, 7 Dhawal Kulkarni, 8 K Gowtham, 9 Shreyas Gopal, 10 Jaydev Unadkat, 11 Jofra ArcherSunrisers Hyderabad: 1 Shikhar Dhawan, 2 Kane Williamson (capt), 3 Wriddhiman Saha (wk), 4 Manish Pandey, 5 Yusuf Pathan, 6 Shakib Al Hasan, 7 Mohammad Nabi, 8 Rashid Khan, 9 Bhuvneshwar Kumar/Sandeep Sharma, 10 Siddarth Kaul, 11 Basil ThampiThe previous meetingRoyals were handed a nine-wicket thrashing when the sides last met. After Sunrisers restricted Royals to 125, Dhawan and Kane Williamson put together a 121-run second-wicket stand to lead the cruise.ESPNcricinfo LtdStrategy puntStokes and Buttler have been dismissed twice by Rashid Khan in T20s, having faced the legspinner for 13 and five balls respectively. In T20s since 2015, Stokes has been dismissed 10 times by legspinners and averages just 12.6 against them. Perhaps there’s a case for Williamson to hold his trump card back for the middle overs when these two are most likely to bat.Stats that matter In the three games this season, pacers have picked 20 out of the 29 wickets in Jaipur, although spinners have had a better economy rate. This is good news for Sunrisers, again. Rahane averages 40.3 with 12 30-plus scores at the Sawai Mansingh in the IPL, but averages just 16.4 against Sunrisers across all seasons. What better time than now to turn it around? Manish Pandey, who top-scored for Sunrisers in their last match against Kings XI, needs 20 more to register 4000 runs in T20s.Fantasy picksTripathi had phenomenal success as an opener last year. There’s enough indication he’ll continue to open. Having had a rough tournament so far, he’ll be eager to make amends. Among the uncapped players, he’s sure to give you good returns without costing your purse much should he fire. He’s also certain to start barring a last-minute injury. There’s also perhaps a case to pick K Gowtham, who has proven to be a useful lower-order hitter in addition to a few regular overs with the ball.

Move over Almiron: Howe must now start £30k-p/w Newcastle machine

If the draw in midweek against AC Milan in the Champions League was a sign of Newcastle United's resilience, Sunday's obliteration of wretched Sheffield United was evidence of the club's world-class firepower and ferocity.

Eddie Howe could not contain his delight, wearing a looping smile as he remarked that he could not even recall the goalscorers post-match, such was the brilliance of the Magpies' eight-goal destruction of Bramall Lane.

It was the second win on the trot for Newcastle after enduring a three-match skid in the Premier League, and there's now a real feeling that the cogs are combining to whir their season into life.

A display of remarkable attacking intent, Sheffield United were calamitous, yes, but the blade was more than dulled on Sunday evening, with Howe's side withstanding some early pressure before turning on the tap for a cascade of destructive football.

Eight different goalscorers. A testament to the collective quality on Tyneside, the manager ensured that there were multiple avenues to cause devastation – and havoc they did wreak.

How is Miguel Almiron performing this season?

There were so many pleasing performances in Yorkshire, and while he did not steal the show in Yorkshire, right-winger Miguel Almiron proved his worth after being benched against Brentford at St. James' Park the week before, scoring a well-taken goal after surging into the box in the second half.

Hailed for his 'pinpoint' finish and for 'bringing good balance' to the side by writer Jordan Cronin in his post-match ratings, the Paraguayan was lively and took 45 touches, completing 83% of his passes, succeeding with his one dribble, making two tackles and making one interception, as per Sofascore.

The forward had failed to open his account across six outings before the match, and while he has now staked his claim for a cemented starting berth once again – especially after Harvey Barnes was withdrawn with injury – it is centre-midfielder Elliot Anderson who was the unsung hero and another deserving of further minutes from the start of games.

How good is Elliot Anderson?

Having produced some "unbelievable" performances in pre-season – as Kieran Trippier proclaimed – Anderson was always likely to earn increased opportunities for Newcastle this season, and he certainly looks to be taking his chance.

Indeed, the 20-year-old was provided with a starting berth in the absence of the injured Joelinton and Joe Willock, with £55m summer signing Sandro Tonali also benched, and produced a calm, composed display to capture his manager's attention and declaim to the travelling fans his worth in this ambitious squad.

Having featured in every match this season and started the past two in the Premier League, the £30k-per-week machine was in fine fettle against Paul Heckingbottom's dismal side, earning a Sofascore rating of 7.6, completing 94% of his passes, making three key passes, winning seven duels and making three tackles.

elliot-anderson-newcastle-united-match-opinion-chelsea-premier-league

Truly, it was some showing from the Toon academy graduate. And now there is evidence that Howe need not worry about the current injuries to key players – Anderson can fill the void and then some, "strutting" his stuff at the heart of such an incredible, galvanising victory, as was said by Cronin.

As per FBref, the 5 foot 10 star ranks among the top 4% of midfielders across Europe's top five leagues over the past year for assists, the top 10% for shot-creating actions, the top 1% for progressive carries, the top 6% for successful take-ons and the top 2% for blocks per 90.

While such superlative metrics have been skewed by his peripheral role over the past year, Anderson is clearly more than just an exciting prospect, and as the Magpies continue to soar, so shall he maintain an ascendency in tandem with his burgeoning outfit.

Astle ruled out of Christchurch Test; Sodhi called-up

No sooner had Todd Astle been grasping a rare opportunity in Test cricket than he has been hit by injury

No sooner had Todd Astle been grasping a rare opportunity in Test cricket than he has been hit by injury, a side strain ruling him out of his hometown match in Christchurch as New Zealand target just a fourth series win over England.Astle took 3 for 39 in the second innings at Eden Park, but scans the following day showed he had picked up the injury. He had a previous side strain earlier in the season and this one means he still has yet to play consecutive Tests after single outings in 2012 and 2016.”Through some incredibly hard work, Todd’s already overcome some injuries this summer, so for this to happen now is a cruel blow,” coach Mike Hesson said. “Todd played a major role in helping us win the game at Eden Park, so it’s disappointing for Todd and the team that he’s forced to the sideline ahead of Friday.”With Mitchell Santner sidelined by a long-term knee injury, it has opened up the chance for fellow legspinner Ish Sodhi to resume his Test career having not played the format since September 2016 against India in Kanpur. If New Zealand maintain the same balance of attack, rather than going all-seam with Matt Henry, Sodhi will come into the match and high on confidence at that. He took career-best match figures of 12 for 62 against Wellington in the Plunket Shield last week, which included a 7 for 30 in the first innings, and 7 for 98 against Otago in the outing before that.”It was good to get the chance to bowl some overs in the middle so you go into the Test, if I play, with a bit of momentum. It was the ideal scenario,” Sodhi said. “As a young spinner learning your art, the best way to do it is to bowl as much as you can and bowling in the nets is so different to bowling in the middle in games. You have to take the chance with both hands.”It’s awesome to get the opportunity to be part of a winning team. The last game was fantastic and boys got up a great spectacle with the pink-ball Test so to be part of it is fantastic but I feel sorry for Toddy. He’s work very hard in the last game, performed well so it’s heartbreaking.”Astle’s absence will lengthen New Zealand’s tail unless they take a cautious approach and opt to play an extra batsman. Martin Guptill is in the squad but, on Tuesday, Hesson said the team would not go into the match looking for a draw despite the carrot of the series win.On the other hand, spin has only taken 14 wickets in four Tests at Hagley Oval. New Zealand didn’t play a spinner against Australia in 2016, and in Tests against Pakistan and Bangladesh, they used a grand total of four overs with Santner not bowling a ball in the Bangladesh contest.Sodhi hasn’t played a first-class match at the ground since 2015 – and in three matches has a return of 3 for 256 – but believes the surface could offer him something. “It’s normally hard and bouncy and if you gave me the option, and the turn was slow, I’d rather have the bounce so hopefully can extract something out the wicket.”The prize for a win or drawn Test is significant for New Zealand: to join the team of 1983-84 as the only series winners against England on home soil, and the 1986 and 1999 sides who achieved the feat in England. They will be favourites going into the match after dismantling England for 58 in Auckland and overcoming the rain to win in effectively little more than three days, but getting carried away is not the New Zealand style.”I think we saw in the second innings what they are capable of and we expect them to be a lot tougher in this match,” BJ Watling said. “They are a quality outfit and we’ll have to on our game.”

Confira a nota oficial do clube divulgada nesta terça-feira:

“Ilustríssimos senhores(as) conselheiros(as)

Em razão da divulgação não autorizada na rede social Facebook para público externo ao quadro associativo do Clube, da relação nominal de todos os nobres conselheiros e de seus respectivos votos nas reuniões do CD desde 2017, gerando clima de insegurança e temor;

Considerando o elevado número de manifestações via e-mail, aplicativo de mensagens e telefone, por parte de pessoas que temem por sua segurança pessoal e de seus familiares;

Considerando ainda o clima extremamente conflituoso gerado por tal publicação;

Cordialmente,

Antonio Goulart dos Reis

Presidente do Conselho Deliberativo do SCCP”

Wolves: Old Gold star saw his value rise by a staggering 19,900%

Wolverhampton Wanderers attempted to bolster their squad during the recent summer transfer window as they brought in eight new signings.

Who did Wolves sign this summer?

The Old Gold, who started the window with Julen Lopetegui and ended it with Gary O'Neil in the dugout, made seven permanent additions to the group alongside one loan deal.

They snapped up Tommy Doyle on a season-long loan from Premier League and Champions League champions Manchester City, in a move that saw Matheus Nunes go the other way on a permanent basis.

Wolves also brought in Matheus Cunha, Matt Doherty, Tom King, Enso Gonzalez, Boubacar Traore, Santiago Bueno, and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde to improve their options across the pitch.

Wolves defender Matt Doherty.

Doherty was a particularly interesting addition to the team as the Republic of Ireland international joined on a free transfer three years after his move away from the club to sign for Tottenham Hotspur.

Wolves played a masterclass with the right-back during his first spell at Molineux as Mick McCarthy struck gold by signing him in 2010.

How much did Wolves sign Doherty for in 2010?

The former Old Gold head coach was reportedly impressed by the then-18-year-old full-back during a pre-season friendly against Irish side Bohemians and swooped to secure his services for a fee within the region of £75k in 2010.

McCarthy took a relatively small gamble, given the size of the figure spent on him, by signing Doherty and it turned out to be an outstanding decision by the ex-Ipswich boss.

The teenage defender made 33 appearances for the club's U21 side and enjoyed loan spells with Hibernian and Bury FC before he made his first-team breakthrough at Molineux.

His first season of semi-regular senior football came during the 2012/13 campaign as he played 13 Championship matches on their way to relegation to League One, where he then featured in 18 games throughout their promotion season.

Wolves defender Matt Doherty.

Doherty then established himself as a regular starter during the 2014/15 term as he assisted five goals in 33 Championship outings.

Including that term, he went on to play 33 or more league matches for Wolves in each of his last six seasons for the club, which included four second division campaigns and two in the Premier League.

How much did Wolves sell Doherty for?

The Old Gold eventually opted to cash in on the defender for a reported fee of £15m in the summer of 2020 as Tottenham secured his signature.

This came after Doherty produced an eye-catching eight goals and 11 assists in 74 Premier League appearances for Wolves across the 2018/19 and 2019/20 campaigns.

Former Tottenham defender Matt Doherty.

The Republic of Ireland international, who was hailed as a "machine" by journalist Tim Spiers, proved himself to be an excellent attacking threat from a right wing-back position and this caught the eye of those at Spurs, who decided to splash out to sign him.

This meant that Doherty's value soared by a staggering 19,900%, from the initial £75k that was paid to Bohemians, over the course of his ten-year stay at Molineux.

Evidently, McCarthy well and truly struck gold by snapping him up from the Irish side after being impressed by his pre-season display against the Old Gold. Indeed, it ended up making the club an incredible profit whilst also giving them a reliable performer who racked up 303 first-team appearances.

West Brom injury news: Worrying update on "top-class" £40k-p/w player

West Bromwich Albion are set to be without one of their senior players for the next couple of months through injury, and an expert has detailed exactly when he believes he’ll be able to stage his comeback.

What's the latest injury news at West Brom?

With Daryl Dike having been out of action since last season with an achilles injury and not expected to return until at least December, Carlos Corberan’s latest blow came in the form of Josh Maja, who has torn some of his ankle ligaments, with the club anticipating that he will be back following the international break in November.

The Baggies boss, however, has been handed a boost over Erik Pieters, who is likely to be available for selection for Saturday’s game vs Preston after being forced off the pitch with muscle tightness during the latest 0-0 Championship draw against Millwall.

Another player currently on the sidelines is Adam Reach, who limped off the field during the 2-2 draw with Burton Albion in pre-season, and having sustained a quad injury, has recently undergone surgery to try and help rectify the problem as quickly as possible.

Despite this, the midfielder still won’t be able to get involved with the action again for a while, with a medical expert having shared the realistic timeframe that the 30-year-old could aim for as a return date.

How long is Adam Reach out for?

Speaking to West Brom News, injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar confirmed that Reach may noy be ready to join in with the first-team until December, whilst noting November as the month that he could start to build up his fitness at the training ground.

His injury is a recurrence of a quadriceps injury that first occurred in April. It sounds like his return timeline is targeted for somewhere in December so mid to late November for light training could be a reasonable goal. Considering he had surgery recently, he’s likely taking it quite easy for the next coming days.“

West Bromwich Albion midfielder Adam Reach.

How good is Adam Reach?

Whilst Reach was previously dubbed a “top-class pro” by West Brom’s former manager Steve Bruce for the professional manner that he carries himself in, he is yet to make a single appearance this season, albeit that’s not his fault, and it’s unlikely he would be able to stake his claim in the starting squad under Corberan upon his return.

England’s former youth international, who is naturally left-footed, only ranked as the club’s 24th overall best-performing player out of 31 squad members last season, via WhoScored, showing how little of an impact he was able to make when handed the opportunity to play, failing to prove to the boss what he's capable of.

Furthermore, Reach currently pockets £40k-per-week which makes him the highest earner at the Hawthorns, as per Capology, therefore, Midlands chiefs should get him off their books next year, especially with his contract set to expire at the end of the season, and use the spare cash to generate funds for new signings in the future.
